A Wednesday Class Update
Seven years in Balmedie. We are evolving, and we want you to come with us.
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to write to the Wednesday crew personally, some of you have already made the move to the new studio, and most of you are also still coming along to Balmedie on Wednesdays. After taking a couple weeks off from the class at the end of summer I have had time to properly asses my time and the management of the new studio. I'll be moving the class fully,I know that won't work for everyone's schedule or commute. Hopefully with the large schedule we have created for september there is something for everyone.
Before anything else, I want to say a genuine thank you. Some of you have been coming to this class since 2019, and that kind of loyalty means more to me than I can really put into words. You've trusted me with your bodies and your Wednesday mornings for years, and honestly, you're part of the reason Alera exists at all. I don't think I could have taken the leap to build the studio without the confidence you all gave me over the years. That means so much to me personally, not just professionally.
There's something about a class that's been together that long, you build a real rhythm and a real trust, and Balmedie on a Wednesday morning has been a big part of my week for a long time.
If you can make the move to Wednesday 9.30 at the new studio, I'd love to send you a private sign-up link before it goes public, so you get first choice of the spot. And even if that class isn't the right fit going forward, I'd still love to see you at the studio, whether that's with me in a different class or with Ali or one of the team. You're always welcome there.
If Wednesday 9.30 at Balmedie has genuinely been the only slot that works and none of this quite fits, I completely understand, and I'm sorry I can't keep it running there. It's not a decision I've taken lightly.

We have a variety of classes on offer with plans for more as we grow and adapt. The team is also growing faster than we imagined.
I have created the 9.30 mat class as a private link for you to book in. Once everyone is in I will make it public for the remaining spaces.
If you already have a class pass the credits can be used for it too, so no need to be paying out twice to different businesses. Cash is also accepted. If you need me to book you in, send me a text with the date.
If you haven't visited the app yet or booked with our new system, please note you do have to select all your dates, (message if stuck)
